Wee Folks Island

Saline Celtic Festival's Wee Folks Island is a kids area like no other! Kids (accompanied by their parents) can participate in activities ranging from free arts and crafts, free games, free story time with a Scottish Princess, free visits with a mermaid, and free access to cooling off in the river!  Did we mention that all of that is free??  Thanks to our generous sponsorship by Saline's Play and Learn Children's Place, we are able to provide these activities and more, free of charge!  The only thing that costs any money are our Ducky Races, which happen at 1:00, 2:00, 3:00, and 4:00 the Saturday of the Festival.  Duckies are $1 a duck, or six ducks for five bucks, and winners get a really cool prize!  The creative afternoon finishes off with a Wee Folks Parade through the Festival Grounds accompanied by a bagpiper at 4:30pm!  Each year features new ideas and adventures for our Wee Ones!
